Isarescu: Public Sector Pay Hikes Won’t Hurt If Budget Targets Are Met

The restoration of public sector wages in Romania could lead to a gradual restoration of internal demand and it should not cause too much stir if budget targets agreed with the International Monetary Fund are met, central bank governor Mugur Isarescu said Thursday.
