Romania Pays EUR1.2B For Imported Fuel, While Shutting Down Refineries

The volume of imports of gasoline and diesel doubled between 2007 and 2011, with Romania ending up paying EUR1.2 billion last year for fuel made abroad, almost three times as much as in 2007.
