EC Maintains 4.5% GDP Growth Forecast, Excessive Deficit Risk For Romania in 2018

The European Commission maintained its economic growth estimate at 4.5% of GDP for Romania this year and sees the country's budget deficit widening considerably due to public sector wage increases, it said in its spring economic forecast released Thursday.
