Former Plants in City Centers Make Room for Retail or Residential Developments

Dozens of plants – furniture, cosmetics, food or construction supplies factories, have been taken down in the past two decades to make room for DIY stores, hypermarkets, malls and apartment buildings. Manufacturing was relocated, but some plants closed for good.
