Liberal Sources Say Local Elections Scheduled For June 5
According to liberal sources, local elections are scheduled for June 5. Moreover, liberals have asked PM Dacian Ciolos for an emergency ordinance on the organization of two rounds of elections, as PSD would be advantaged by elections organized in only one round.
“The only realistic alternative toward this change is the enacting of this provision in an emergency ordinance. We have reached the conclusion that we have to propose PM Ciolos to take into account the requests of the civil society,” PNL co-chair Alina Gorghiu stated Monday. (Evenimentul Zilei)
