Group Of Analysts, Investors Support Tax Code As Approved By Parliament

A group of entrepreneurs, economists, managers and university professors support the implementation of the new Tax Code and the fiscal relaxation measures, considering it a chance that should not be missed, but the government’s approach should be based on responsibility and healthy principles.

In an open letter addressed to President Klaus Iohannis, PM Victor Ponta, Senate speaker Calin Popescu Tariceanu and the leaders of political parties, the group says that prosperity cannot be built on budget deficits and public debt and monetary and fiscal policies cannot compensate the absence of real reforms, so that it takes a new approach, based on responsibility and healthy principles.

The letter is signed by university professors (Bogdan Glavan - Romanian-American University, Cristian Paun and Costea Munteanu - The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Vlad Muresan - Babes-Bolyai University), economists (Florin Citu, Claudiu Nasui, Ovidiu Neacsu, Adrian Mitroi – economic analyst) and entrepreneurs (Octavian Badescu - Sameday Courier, Decebal Popescu - Cartrans Romania, Victor Dragomirescu - Romanian Software). Genes Controlling Biological Clock, Altered After Losing One Single Night Of Sleep

The genes that control the biological clocks in cells throughout the body are altered after losing a single night of sleep, which can lead to serious diseases.

These are the results of the latest study of Swedish researchers at Uppsala University and Karolinska Institute, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, according to medicalxpress.com.

“Previous research has shown that human metabolism is negatively affected by sleep loss, and sleep loss has been linked to an increased risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes.  (…) Our current results indicate that changes of our clock genes may be linked to such negative effects caused by sleep loss," said Jonathan Cedernaes, lead author on the study and a researcher at Uppsala University.
