Weekly Export Risk Outlook, March 27

Business confidence in the euro-zone suggests a gradual recovery, Euler Hermes noted in its latest edition of the Weekly Export Risk Outlook report.

According to the report, the latest PMI data point to a 0.4% quarterly growth of the euro-zone gross domestic product in the first quarter, after a 0.3% increase in 4Q 2013.

On a separate note, Euler Hermes notes that Greece will have to secure additional financial assistance to cover a funding gap in the second half of the year despite the successful conclusion of the fifth review by an IMF team.
