After Monday’s Peak, The Euro Lost Ground

The exchange rate fluctuations over the past week, with the leu losing over 2% against the euro, broke the relative stability to which bankers, as well as clients with foreign currency loans, were used to since last autumn. Yesterday was a respite from Monday’s abrupt depreciation, with the leu managing to regain ground towards RON4.24 per euro.
