The Romanian Competition Council approved the takeover of the Romanian subsidiary of Portugal’s Millennium bcp by OTP Bank Romania, a member of Hungarian group OTP, and the takeover of the corporate business of Royal Bank of Scotland Romania by UniCredit Tiriac Bank, the institution said Tuesday.
