Banks Steer Customers Towards Contactless Cards

The seven local banks that issue contactless cards (which enable card holders to make small payments without having to pass the card through a POS or input the PIN) have reached more than 1.3 million cards and an acceptance network of 16,000 terminals, triple as many as a year ago, ZF has calculated.
