BRD VP: Failure Of T-Bill Auction May Be Linked To Hidroelectrica Insolvency

The failure of Romania's treasury bill auction earlier this week can partially be the result of the announcement of Hidroelectrica's insolvency, which kept some banks out or made them demand higher interest, BRD vice-president Claudiu Cercel said Wednesday in the conference ZF Bankers Summit.
