Cinteza: Romania's Banking System Loss To Exceed RON2B In 2014

The provisions booked by banks via non-performing loans cleanup process triggered a net loss of 1.58 billion lei (EUR35 million) in the banking system in January-September, but losses will exceed RON2 billion at yearend, Nicolae Cinteza, head of the central bank’s Supervisory Department, said.
