Consumer Loans At 12-Year High In H1

Romanian consumers took out 10.8 billion lei (EUR2.32 billion) worth of leu loans in the first half, which is a 12-year high, Romania’s central bank data show. The new loans Romanians took out from banks rose by more than 14% compared with the year-ago period.
