Foreign-Held Banks Added EUR1B Fresh Capital Since Crisis Debut

Foreign banks contributed 850 million lei (EUR200 million) to the local subsidiaries’ capital and announced up to EUR360 million capital injections, to be done in part by the end of 2011. This is to offset the effect of the crisis on the balance sheets.
