High Expenses Keep Insurers In The Red

Insurance companies are paying 72% of a year’s gross written premiums to their customers in claim settlements, and their operating expenses amount to 42% of their revenue, which means revenue is 14% lower than total costs, according to the Financial Supervisory Authority.
