Non-Residents Withdrew EUR1B From Romanian Banks In January-August

Non-residents, mostly banking groups, had EUR6.7 billion in medium and long-term deposits in banks in Romania at the end of August, about EUR1 billion less than in December 2012, according to central bank data.
