Non-Residents Withdrew EUR800M Deposits From Romanian Banks In One Year

Non-residents, mostly financial groups, had EUR5.7 billion placed in medium and long-term deposits at Romanian banks at the end of January, about EUR800 million less than in the same period a year ago, according to central bank data.
