Reason Behind Volksbank’s Departure: RON1.75B Loss In Four Years

The local subsidiary of Volksbank, which Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO) acquired this week, posted more than 1.75 billion lei (about EUR400 million) losses in the last four years due to sour loan problems and its shareholders had to increase its capital on several occasions.
