Romania’s Banking System Sees RON2.77B Profit in H1

The net profit of the Romania’s banking system reached about 2.77 billion lei (EUR586 million) at the end of the first half, while assets rose to a new high of RON458.8 billion, as lending went up by more than 7%, preliminary central bank data show.
