Romanian Banca Transilvania Opens Branch In Rome, Shuts Down Cyprus Operations

Romanian lender Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO) will open a branch in Rome, Italy, in November and will shut down its operations in Cyprus as of December 1, the bank said in a statement Wednesday.
