Romanian BCR Posts RON636M Net Profit in 1H

Romania's largest bank BCR, a unit of Austria’s Erste Group Bank (EBS.RO), reported a net profit of 636 million lei (EUR141.5 million) in the first half of the year, due to an improved loan portfolio ,the bank said in a statement released Thursday.
