Romanian Card Deals Hit EUR32B In 2013

The Romanian government has left the Parliament to discuss the details of the project aimed at capping cash payments, which is likely to give a strong boost to the card market. However, restrictions to the use of cash in Romania are doubled by a severe capping of card transaction interbanking fees, which has angered card companies.
