Romanian Online Card Payments Up 40% In 2011, To EUR800M

The estimated value of online payments made with bank cards issued in Romania increased about 40% last year to some EUR800 million, of which EUR600 million are transactions made outside the country, Visa Romania general manager Catalin Cretu said Tuesday.
