BCR, the largest Romanian bank, will have to resort more to the EUR3 billion external funding program it launched in 2009 because the core local business in Romania needs to be financed locally, says Andreas Treichl, the chief executive of Erste Group Bank (EBS.RO), the owner of BCR.
