Bucharest Stocks Close Down, Romgaz, Banca Transilvania, BRD Boost Traded Value

The Bucharest stock market closed down Wednesday, amid traded value worth RON44.63 million (EUR10.05 million), while investors focused on trades with Romgaz (SNG.RO), Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO), and BRD (BRD.RO).

The Bucharest bourse’s main index BET was down 4.77 points, or 0.06%, at 7.538,74, while BET Plus closed down 0.07%, or 0.8 points to 1.108,07. Total return index BET-TR was down 0.07%, at 8.230,57.

BET-FI, which tracks Fondul Proprietatea and the five regional investment funds SIFs, closed up 0.06% at 30.962,81.

Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK finished the session at 1.394,82, up 0.1% on the day, while energy stocks tracker BET-NG closed down 0.17% at 706.23.

The wider BET-XT closed down 0.01% at 680.63. (EUR1=RON4.4375)
