Bucharest Stocks Open Flat On Low Values

The Bucharest stock exchange was barely moved Tuesday morning, as the lack of interest for trading persisted.

The BET index was up just 0.03% at 10:35 local time (GMT0735), while composite index was up 0.02%.

BET-FI, which tracks Fondul Proprietatea (FP.RO) and the five regional investment funds (SIFs), was losing 0.08%, while BET-XT was just below the line, with a 0.01% decline.

Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK was up 0.18%, and energy stocks tracker BET-NG inched down 0.01%.

The value of share transfers after 35 minutes of the session was 0.5 million lei (EUR0.1 million), with Proprietatea accounting for around half of the total.
