Bucharest Stocks Rise Slightly, Traded Values Falter

The Bucharest stocks advanced slightly Thursday morning, but on very low traded values, as interest seems to be still directed towards the Romgaz public offering.

At around 11:17 local time (GMT0817), the Bucharest market’s BET index was up 0.27% from Wednesday closing level, while composite index BET-C was up 0.24%.

Investment fund tracker BET-FI was up 0.32%, with Fondul Proprietatea (FP.RO) rising 0.2%. Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK was up 0.21%, and energy index BET-NG was gaining 0.28%.

The value of share transfers was barely above 0.46 million lei (EUR0.1 million) at 11:17, with few stocks gaining some attention.
