The listing of investment fund Fondul Proprietatea (FP.RO) on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on January 25, 2011 was the chance for the capital market to be reborn and for former owners stripped of their properties by the communist regime to receive damages after years of delays. But a look back at the year gone by shows that only some of these expectations have been met.
