Franklin Templeton’s Priority Is To Boost FP’s Value Not Invest In Romanian Economy, Manager Says

Franklin Templeton, the administrator of Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea, collected around 95 million lei in the two and a half years since it took over the mandate, over six times more than the fund’s management spending during the time when it was administered by the Romanian state, but the fund’s asset value has not increased during this time and shares did not boast the performance expected by shareholders.
