Leu Closes Up Vs Euro, Unmoved By Cabinet Resignation

Romania’s leu recouped part of its losses against the euro in late trade Monday, tracking the currencies in the region, and closed modestly higher on the day at 4.343/4.344 units, unfazed by the government’s resignation in the morning.
