Leu Slightly Up Vs Euro, Exchange Rate At 4.496

The Romanian leu slightly gained ground versus the euro by midday Wednesday and the central bank’s reference won 0.05% to 4.496 units, unaffected by the central bank’s decision to cut its main monetary policy rate by 25 basis points, to a record low 2.5%.
