Leu Widens Gains Vs Euro, Exchange Rate At 4.5188

The Romanian leu extended its earlier gains versus the euro by midday Wednesday, mirroring the currencies in the region, and the central bank’s reference strengthened 0.3% to 4.5188 units, from 4.5317 units a day earlier.
