SSIF Broker Proposes RON12.3M Capital Increase

Romanian brokerage house SSIF Broker (BRK.RO) Friday recommended increasing its share capital by 12.3 million lei (EUR2.98 million) to RON84.6 million, by including last year’s profits and part of older reserves.

SSIF Broker plans to issue 49.2 million new shares with a face value of RON0.25. Stockholders will receive 17 new shares for each 100 shares owned.

The proposal is subject to holders approval at a meeting due June 24.

SSIF Broker has a wide ownership, with the largest shareholder SIF Muntenia (SIF4.RO) holding a 10% stake.

On the Bucharest bourse Friday, SSIF Broker closed up 0.35% at RON0.2599 a share. (EUR1=RON4.1208)
