Only 28 of the 50 largest entrepreneurial companies in 2009, the year the crisis hit Romania’s economy, are still standing, and the other 22 are either insolvent, bankrupt or deregistered. This is one of the most dramatic overviews of the Romanian private capital in the past decade.
