The difficult situation of the major automakers in Germany, the main customers of the automotive component plants in Romania is making an impact on the automotive component industry: SEWS (wiring) closed the plant in Orastie, Joyson (seat belts and airbags) is getting ready to close its plant in Curtici and Yazaki (wiring) is downsizing in Urlati.
