Bucharest’s Ring Road Left Without Funds After EUR500M Is Spent On Two Less Important Mountain Roads

The Romanian Transport Ministry has spent over EUR470 million on two mountain roads – national roads DN 67C Bengesti-Sebes and DN 2D Focsani Ojdula - with an average daily traffic of 15,000 vehicles, while Bucharest’s ring road, with a traffic of 144,000 vehicles per day, has been left with a financing of less than EUR3 million this year.
