CNADNR Receives Five Offers For RON803M Road Rehabilitation

Strabag (Austria), Shapir (Israel), Aktor and Mochlos (Greece) and the Romanian consortium Spedition UMB-Tehnostrade have bid on the project for the rehabilitation of a 200 km long segment of road DN 18, a contract worth 802.7 million lei (EUR195.5 million), without VAT.

Shapir, Aktor and Strabag have submitted their offers for the rehabilitation of the Baia Mare-Sighetul Marmatiei segment, worth an estimated RON200.7 million.

The three companies also bid on the contract for the rehabilitation of the Sighetul Marmatiei-Moisei segment, worth an estimated RON232.4 million, along with Spedition UMB-Tehnostrade and Mochlos.

Shapir, Aktor and Strabag are competing for the contract for the Moisei-Iacobeni segment, estimated at RON369.4 million.

These amounts do not include VAT.

The contracts will run for 24 months, with another 24 months as warranty. The project is financed by the European Investment Bank and the Romanian government. (EUR1=RON4.1051)
