Record Deal On Mobile App Market As Daimler Buys Clever Taxi

Mihai Rotaru and Alexandru Dumitru, who created the Clever Taxi mobile app in 2011 enabling people in 20 cities in Romania to order more than 40 million taxi rides since 2012, have become euro millionaires after having sold their company to mytaxi.net, the largest taxi app provider in Europe held by Germany’s Daimler (Mercedes), for more than EUR10 million.
