Romania Scrapped Over 116,000 Old Cars Within Cash-For-Clunkers Program This Year

Romania’s government-backed clunkers program led to the scrapping of 116,641 old cars and the acquisition of nearly 40,000 new ones, Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely told a news conference Tuesday.
