Romanian Romcab Inks EUR27M Deal With Delphi Packard

Romanian cable maker Romcab Targu-Mures will supply US car parts maker Delphi Packard with electrical conductors in a contract worth EUR27 million.

Romanian cable maker Romcab Targu-Mures will supply US car parts maker Delphi Packard with electrical conductors in a contract worth EUR27 million.

The contract was concluded for a one-year term, starting in May, Romcab said Thursday.

Romcab posted sales of EUR12 million in 2010. For this year, company representatives expect sales of EUR48 million.

Romcab clients include Aprilia, Ducatti, Suzuki, Piaggio, Renault, Fiat, Opel and Valeo.

Delphi Packard is active in Romania through Delphi Packard Romania and Delphi Diesel Romania.
