Romania’s Economy Ministry supports the exploitation of gold deposits in Rosia Montana, but the Rosia Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC), the company which wants to develop the mining project, must obtain an environmental authorization, state secretary Claudiu Stafie said Thursday.
