Lender Banca Comerciala Romana will give EUR23 million to Portuguese Martifer for a wind farm project in southeast Romania.

Lender Banca Comerciala Romana will give EUR23 million to Portuguese Martifer for a wind farm project in southeast Romania.

The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 42 MW, according to a BCR news release.

The Martifer group is active in Portugal, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. In Romania, the group is active on the biofuels market, with a biodiesel plant near Bucharest.

BCR, part of Austrian group Erste, is Romania's largest bank with respect for asset value.
