Behind Romania’s Court Case That Got It EUR401M From Enel

The verdict of the International Court of Arbitration in Paris in the former Electrica Muntenia Sud case, requiring Italy’s Enel to pay EUR401 million to the Romanian government for 13.57% in the electricity supply and distribution company can be considered the second big victory of Romania in an international case, after winning against Ukraine in the Black Sea continental plateau matter.
