Bill Paid By Romania For Gazprom Gas Slid 14 Times During The Crisis

The bill Romania paid in 2014 for Russian gas imported through intermediaries from Gazprom stood at $117 million, over four times lower than in 2013 and 14 times less than in 2008, a year when Russian imports covered 23% of consumption. The Russian company says the decline of the local chemical industry was the main factor behind the falling quantities.
