Chimcomplex Net Profit More Than Doubles To RON7.5M In January-September

Romanian chemical plant Chimcomplex Borzesti (CHOB.RO) Thursday said its net profit more than doubled to 7.5 million lei (EUR1.72 million) in the first nine months, from RON3.3 million a year earlier.

Chimcomplex said revenue rose 16% on the year to RON146 million, while expenses were up 12.7% to RON137.2 million.

Sales increased 13% to RON134.8 million in January through September, from roughly RON120 million in the year-earlier period.

Chimcomplex is 83.8% owned by A2 Impex Ploiesti, a member of the Serviciile Comerciale Romane group, controlled by businessman Stefan Vuza.

On Rasdaq market Thursday, Chimcomplex closed up 3.8% at RON0.27 a share.
