Economy Ministry Earmarks RON243M For Energy Efficiency Projects

Companies looking to access EU funding worth a total 243 million lei (some EUR60 million) for investment in energy efficiency, can file the literature between May 13 and December 15, the Economy Ministry said Tuesday.

"The budget for this cycle is of RON243 million and the co-financing ceiling per project stands at RON80 million," the ministry said in a news release.

The program is financed from the state budget, co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development. (EUR1=RON4.1073)
