Energy Policy Group (EPG), an independent organization specialized in energy-related policies, has analyzed Romania's National Integrated Energy and Climate Change Plan (PNIESC) and found multiple loopholes, among which the lack of detailed implementation plans and of specific sectoral measures, insufficient details regarding the decarbonization of the transport sector and the inadequacy of using renewable energy in industry and buildings.
