EUR1B Investments In Green Power In First Half

More than EUR1 billion were invested in wind and solar farms in the first half of the year, and EUR288 million were paid as subsidies to producers. Renewable energy accounted for 12% of total electricity consumption, close to the quota Romania has to meet for this year.
