Hidroelectrica, the largest electricity producer and the most profitable state-owned company in Romania, has summoned its two shareholders – the Romanian State, with an 80% stake, and investment fund Fondul Proprietatea, with a 20% stake, to approve a binding bid for the acquisition of the Romanian assets of Czech utility group CEZ.
