Rompetrol, the second-largest player on the Romanian oil market, is preparing for major changes, as the $6.8 billion (EUR4.5 billion) business awaits a new CEO, who will also come from Astana, the headquarters of state-run Kazakh company KazMunayGas, which now controls Dinu Patriciu’s former business.
